Hi, will be going to Argentina at Easter (17th-26th) of April 2003, which just happens to be Easter. Anyone see any particular problems? Full hotels? Hugely inflated prices? Everything closed? Thanks for any replies!

Depends how fluent you are in Spanish: give hotel managers a chance to charge you over the odds and they will. I went in February having booked two places before I went (big mistake): the first was a charming enough though drastically overpriced small hotel; the second was a place I booked on Expedia which has to be just about the most disgusting fleapit I've ever stayed in. Third time lucky though: rang up a 4-star hotel, asked if they had any promotions, and got a suite for about US $60 a night.
