Hi,

Need some advice on connections in BOM. I have a Jet Airways flight GOI-BOM arriving at 9.10am and I'm connecting to an SQ flight to SIN at 11.40am.

As I need to check-in for the SQ flight by 10.40am and its a weekday morning, does this leave me enough time to collect my luggage at the domestic terminal and make my way to the international terminal? I seem to recall Jet Airways providing a free shuttle between the terminals - any idea what the timings are?

I have an option of taking an earlier IC flight arriving at 8.10am but I'd rather not take it since I've had bad experiences with their flights being delayed before. How is Jet Airways in terms of on-time arrival?

Pretty good - I'd say if the SQ folks think it is sufficient time for connection then you'd be fine. Also there must be some Jet airways shuttle from SantaCruz to Sahar airports.

Thanks. Just got this from the Jet Airways site...didn't think to check there first...Doh! I suppose since the shuttles run on the tarmac side, traffic shouldn't be a problem. Anyone know the frequency of these shuttles?:

Transfer from Domestic (1B) to International (2C) terminal
Passengers can board this coach from Domestic airport, arrival terminal 1B (Tarmac side – near Jet Airways arrival hall), which will then proceed to the International airport. Passengers will be dropped at International airport, terminal 2C (City side) departures. These inter-terminal shuttle coaches will operate within the tarmac.

Jet Airways will have one shuttle bus meeting every arrival and a staffer with a sign to direct you towards it.

They may also be able to interline your luggage directly to SQ so you don't have to worry about claiming it and carrying it across. Theoretically it can be done, but the folks at GOI may not be the most skilled at doing it!
