Which airlines fly to other cities, besides Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta, and Madras, from international destinations?

Do any other airlines plan to start service to Bangalore? BA? Other European or other Asian airlines?

With the DOTCOM economy being what it is, I doubt many will attempt to do so now :-)

B2B = Back-to-Bangalore/Bombay

There are intl flights from a few other cities in India including AMD (Ahmedabad), Trichy/Trivandrum, GOI (Goa), etc. in addition to the previously mentioned BOM, DEL, MAA, CCU, BLR, and HYD. The majority of the intl services from the secondary cities are operated by Indian Airlines (IC) but a few other such as Silk Air (MI) from Trivandrum do exist.

Several other airlines would like to expand services into India to both the main cities and secondary ones but they are limited by the bilateral treaties in which the "Flag" carrier of India is Air India. AI have a severe shortage of aircraft so they cannot expand their schedules so in turn other airlines are not permitted to expand (i.e. LH would like to offer 30 flights a week from India vs the current 18 - apparently they are working out a deal with AI to increase flights)

BA have stated a desire to offer service to AMD and HYD in the past as have others. Maybe after AI is privatized but till then probably not??
