I'm just looking for any information about this property. Good and bad experiences? Favorite memories, etc...

I stayed in Whistler a year ago in the summer and had a wonderful stay at the Marriott hotel up on the mountain. I have never stayed in the winter but I'd like to hear additional feedback. There breakfast is great and so is the pool! My wife especially loved the bear she spotted just outside the property.

Check out the Marriott forum for a recent discussion of this hotel. In short, it's a great family hotel in winter, with ski in/out access, relatively decent rates, and fairly large rooms. If you're looking to take in the Whistler nightlife, though, its position high up on Blackcomb mountain makes it too far to walk home from Whistler Village (although there is a decent bus service).
