I plan to spend a weekend in Toronto visting Nagara Falls & Thousand Islands. How long does it take to drive from Toronto to T.I. and/or BUF? Any travel tips for tourists are helpful. Thanks.

I would say around 2 hours from Downtown to the falls and another 45 minutes to Buffalo.

Thousand Islands is East of Toronto and Buffalo is southwest.
If you go to Kingston (Thousand Islands), count on 2+ hours from Downtown Toronto east on Hwy 401
Depending on where and when you cross the border to get to Buffalo could travel time as well.
