Will be riding BC Rail's new luxury dome train September 9 through 11 from Van to Prince George, staying a night in Whistler and a night at 100 Mile House. Looking forward to this most scenic ride, which I've done on the cramped Cariboo Dayliner but this promises to be much finer! Any thoughts? How about for the afternoon in Whistler? Looking forward to some vigorous hiking and fine dining.

Not sure what time the Northwind northbound arrives in Whistler but I doubt you'll have much time to hike when it gets in.

Arrives at 11:50 am after short ride from N Van. A great concept - 3 days from Van to Prince George!

Looks like this train follows behind the Cariboo Prospector, if the CP is running that day.
