I receive email specials from a couple discount cruise companies (best price cruises & 02 Cruise). With all the great prices,I am not sure if one discounter is better than another.
Your thoughts.
what great prices were offered for what cruises?

If you go to Cruisemates.com you an ask the staff or read some of the threads there.
cruises-n-more is a good discounter I work through...cruises.com isn't bad either...get a best price from one and call around...got a two cabin upgrade last year...I've been on carnival the last three years and will be again in Feb '02...both places are online, but call to work out the best deals. I even got money off when I went to make my final payment since prices had gone down since I'll called...

I've used many cruise only discounters and have without a doubt received the best prcing AND service from Joan Choen at Cruise.com (888) 333-3116.

I've had good service from www.crucon.com (http://www.crucon.com) and I would NOT recommend Orbitz.
I just booked my 2nd cruise through GalaxSea.
I called about 5 places and they all had the same price, but GalaxSea had a $75 per person on-board credit for Princess.
They are at (800) 923-7245 and are Pacific time. Online at www.galaxsea.com (http://www.galaxsea.com)
Not sure how much they had to do with it, but got a free 11 category upgrade on my Alaskan cruise last August.

In Canada, if I want to talk to a cruise discounter/broker - who can I talk to. Since I am a resident in Canada, I would prefer to talk to someone working in a Canadian agency.
I would prefer to book through either this agency, or a general travel agency, or directly via a cruise line (which is the better way to do it, all other things, including prices, being equal?
