I have booked a quick 4 day cruise on the Radiance of the Seas and have only been a passenger on Crystal and Cunard in the past. Can someone enlighten me on dinner dress code for Royal Caribbean. Cunard and Crystal are both strict on Formal/Informal and Casual. I suspect Royal Caribbean in probably casual (no jacket/tie required at dinner) but I'd like to be sure.

Hi: Royal Caribbean has formal night, however I've been on many cruises and on the last one just decided not to schlep a tux for my honey. Took a dark suit and it was fine, and on the second formal night (it was a 7 night cruise) Did a dark sport jacket. He was nervous and embarrassed until just after dinner when all the men ran to change into shorts for the show!

Did Royal Caribbean on a 4 day in June and had my tux for formal night but plenty of male passengers either had suits or sport coats. The women did tend to deck out though. On other nights it is sport coats or more informal. Enjoy.
