The average of specially priced cruises in the past 6 months or so and presently ongoing is about 80$ per day. At 379$ for 5 this is even a better deal but nothing to get excited about.
This is a cruisers market. Too much supply and not enough demand.
Right now, I would choose my itinerary first and the price will more than likely be very worthwhile. Of course, it helps to book with the right agent http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/wink.gif

Yes, there is a glut in the cruise industry at this time. The prices are competitive but we will not see the glut appear until the fall when families and kids are back in school and office. Then you will see week long cruises possibly really drop as they can't find anyone who can take off an entire week in October. That is when I am planning on going then.

The best travel agent is the internet. I went directly on line with the cruise lines' websites and was able to get not only a great rate, but you can see exactly where your cabin will be, which is very important to me. By the way, I am also booked for October. Hae fun! http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/smile.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttravel_forum/smile.gif
