Tuxie (http://images.ofoto.com/photos224/4/61/22/20/33/0/33202261403_0_ALB.jpg) is flying on his first flight ever in a couple of weeks and since he is too precious (http://images.ofoto.com/photos215/3/35/90/1/19/0/19019035303_0_ALB.jpg) to go in the cargo hold, he will be our "personal item." (http://images.ofoto.com/photos224/4/61/22/20/75/0/75202261403_0_ALB.jpg) Will they stick him and his carrier through the X-ray machine? Do we have to take him out, hold him, stick the carrier through and put him back in? I've never flown with an animal before. How are carry-on animals treated at security?

odd, the links don't work but when I copy them into another browser they do.

By the way, Tuxie is a cat (since you can't see his pictures).
