El Al Israel Airlines has launched the first-ever frequent-flyer program for pets. The program gives dogs, cats and birds points that can be accumulated for future travel. After three round-trip flights from the U.S.
to Israel within a three-year period, pets earn a free round-trip flight. To launch the program, the airline is waiving the $35 (U.S.) membership fee for pets until the end of August. Information: (888) FLY ELAL.
