I will be going to Tokyo for the first time. I have heard that it can be a very expensive city.
On Expedia, I found two hotels that had moderate room rates.
The Clarion Hotel Tokyo ($82 rate) is located at 231 Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, near the Ikebukuro train station on the JR line.
The Crowne Plaza Hotel Metropolitan ($89 rate) is located 1-6-1 Nishi-ikebukuro.
Has anyone stayed at either of these hotels? If so, please let me know if you'd recommend them.
Are they conveniently located?
Safe and clean?
Any advice on other Tokyo hotels under $100 and conveniently located would be appreciated.
