HELP..
I have approx 87 segments w/ Delta. I should get up to 90-92 by year end w/ biz travel.
I'm looking for least expensive mileage run (6-10 segments) departing out of Atlanta, but would consider departing out of CHA, BHM, GSP, or CSG to maximize the run). Will be ok for a layover for one night somewhere. Ideally I'd look to depart on a Sunday or Monday late morning...Not really looking for miles, but segment.. Please advise!...thanks in advance..!

You could do 6 segments on Sunday, December 22, leaving at 6:30 AM, with the routing ATL-DCA-LGA-BOS-LGA-DCA-ATL, for $324.50 on Expedia. This will also give you over 10,000 total miles assuming a 100% mileage bonus.

Drive over to BHM and do something to the west coast or LAS. BHM - LAS is about $200 and you can do it in 6 easy segments.

The number of segments, as mentioned by the original OP, no longer have any role in qualifying one for status. It's all based on MQMs, baby!

Have people just stopped reading the TOS before clicking "Submit?"

TOS reading is so last year. Just look at the SPAM forum.

Or, as I was reminded this morning:
Yes they do! How many times to I have to explain this?
50 segments gets you FO
100 segments gets you GM
150 segments gets you PM

Or, as I was reminded this morning:
True, but DL doesn't do 'a la' AA or UA style, for instance. You are right, though, mathematically speaking.

Looking at this thread it seems:
A) It really does belong in the discussion subforum, and
B) It is no longer relevant.
So, I'm moving it to MR discussion and closing it.
