I need about 20 segments through year end to get to 1K and my business travel is slowing down. Anyone have any ideas for a good segment run from either ORD or MKE?
I would prefer to do them during the week and with no overnight stays. I figure if I can get a few good ones, it will put me over the top.

Is cost an issue? You could try ORD-OMA-DEN-LAS-LAX-SAN

If you're passing through LAX, you might also try adding a side-trip LAX-ONT-LAX. Often adds very little time and cost for two more quick segments.

Thanks for the ORD///SAN tip. Question:How would I go about booking something like this on United.com? I have tried and it is frustrating. Also, not sure what the fare is right now but it does seem really high. Any other suggestions?

Actually, I've never been able to book anything like that on line either! It is frustrating. An alternative - the ORD/IND RT on, for example, 12/11 is $125 or $62.50 per segment. You can do three RTs between 0700 and 1700. This isn't bad cost-wise and is really good time-wise.
