Our findings suggest that vitamins E and C may offer protection against AD when taken together in the higher doses available from individual supplements," the authors write. "Formal proof of such an effect can come only from randomized prevention trials. If proven efficacious in such trials, antioxidant vitamins (believed to offer other health benefits) would offer an attractive prevention strategy for AD."

What do you have to lose? The study mentions does of C over 500mg and E at 400iu or higher. Not really "high" dosages. I take 3000mg of C per day or more, and 400iu of E (high gamma).
Other studies have shown that gamma tocopherol is better for you than alpha, so look for "high gamma" E, available at good vitamin stores or online.
