Dollar Thrifty Car Rental unit joined US Airways "Dividend Miles" program, effective 8/1/00. Thrifty said US Airways' Dividend Miles members can earn 250 Dividend Miles on 'qualifying' worldwide car rentals with Thrifty Car Rental.

The miles apply to members renting Thrifty cars, whether or not a US Airways flight is involved.

The company will offer a special triple bonus, or 750 miles, on qualifying rentals from 8/1-11/15/00.
