Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group reported record results for the 2nd Q ended June 30, 2000. Total revenue for the 2000 second quarter was $286.7 million, a 10.6 percent increase over the 1999 second quarter. Net income for the quarter was $24.8 million, or $1.01 earnings per diluted share, based on 24,570,623 weighted average outstanding shares. For the comparable 1999 quarter, net income was $17 million, or $.69 earnings per diluted share based on 24,499,643 weighted average outstanding shares.
