Anyone have any word on whether USAir will be rolling over preferred miles in excess of 100k from 2003 into 2004?

I wrote to the CP email address with the same question. Got an affirmative response a day later. Last year, they credited in March, I think ..

Carole Blazer in the DMSC told me that the miles/segments would be posted in March.

I also wrote to the DMSC....here is the response I received:
Dear ILMDSM:
We appreciate your loyalty to US Airways and recognize your contribution to our
airline. Your 2003 Year-to-Date miles and segments earned in excess of 100,000
miles or 100 segments will count towards your 2004 miles and segments flown.
The excess miles and segments will be added to next year's tier counter by the
end of March 2004.

Isn't the whole point of this to keep CP's flying US in the 4th quarter after they've hit 100K. In the past, there way no incentive to, so folks would hop on another carrier to earn status as a backup.
With so many people asking the question now, and so little notice during the year (I think I recall 2 FT'er saying the received notification on a statemnet (which I don't usually read anyway)), doesn't it kind of lose its intended effect?

Mine posted too. It feels funny to have 300,000 miles and 120 segments when it's only February. Makes me want to try another carrier for a few months just to see what it's like.

Ahhhh. I get nervous when there are less than 6 figures in there.
I'm better now.

I need some counseling from you as to how to accomplish this. I'm at 33k, but would love to have the flexibility to try another airline. I love love love this rollover though.

Mine posted too. Puts me at 63 K preferred miles. My trip PHL-ORD-NRT-TPE-NRT-KIX-HNL-LAX-PHL next week in C on United ought to get me pretty close to CP by the Ides of March.
It is tempting to get back up status on UA but I am hooked on the 100% CP mileage bonus. Guess that's why they give it.

My math tells me that's 189,500 miles and 133 segments per year since the beginning of 2001. That's all there is too it<g>.
Getting out more could have accomplished the miles (I'm at 420K), but the segments are likely for real (I'm at a grand total of 5 YTD - new baby kept me home, and $*&%$% PIT-STL AA RJ's are the pits)

Over the past two or three years I have always spread my buiness around, while making sure I made CP. Last year after a three month flirt with DL which I basically gave them around 50 segments, I made a real effort to give US most of my segments. Had I not done that I would have already qualified for CP next year. Oh well, I will be there by the end of March and I won't be making the DL mistake again.
OT question. Do the roll over segments and miles count toward the free club threshold of 150k or 150 segments? If so, I really have been stupid the last two years.

Another word....I spoke with a helpful CP Agent today and after booking a ticket for an upcoming trip, when asked, she offered to check on the status of Club Membership "comped" status.
She indicated that my account was coded for another of "comped" status, and that even though my current club membership expires on 2/29/04, new membership cards would follow within 2-3 weeks.

Good to hear. I know they didn't show up until March last year, but I was getting a bit nervous.

Seems that US has already entered "05" in their computer for "comped" membership year. I haven't received my new card yet, but the CLT Club lady told me her computer screen says I'm good to go until 2005.
