Hi, this is a two part question.
1. I am currently Gold, am interested in a CP Challenge, as I will be flying lots in the next months. Anyone know if they are available yet? Should I just call the DM Service Center?
2. How do I go about getting equivalent status comped on UA?

Will match status, generally to equivalent level up to Premier Executive (mid-tier)

Send a copy of your current elite statement or elite card along with a note explaining you'd like to shift your busy to them if they'll match your current status to:

Give them about a week to process your fax request.

Don't be surprised if UA turns you down. It used to be relatively straightforward, but poaching other *A elites is frowned upon. With US supposedly joining this year, it could be tough.

I have read on the board people are still able to get UA comps, because US is not quite yet a member of the alliance? Or if it is a member, it has not fully been put in production yet?

I had no problem getting my status comped. Took about a week for them to process.
