Try this. It can be done all in one day:

$265.00
gso-dca
dca-pit
pit-buf
buf-bos
bos-phl
phl-gso
leaves at 7am gets in at 9pm. I did it and it was hell but it will get me cp.

Mostly US Express or mainline jets?

I might seriously consider this one - thanks

Back in September or so, I did this for $250:
RDU-CLT
CLT-DCA
DCA-PIT
PIT-ILP (Whatever Williamsport is)
ILP-PIT
PIT-DCA
DCA-RDU

and could've added an eighth segment but chose not to because I didn't want to risk a close connection.

My favorite was December of 2002:

BWI-PHL-LGA-BOS-LGA-PHL-BWI for $112...

Bonus miles for the Shuttle flight as well.

It was all on mainline except for GSO-DCA and BUF-BOS.

Back in the day, I did something like:

PIT-RIC-CLT-ATL-CLT-RIC-PIT for about $130.

I think I might have had PIT-GSO-CLT-MEM-CLT-GSO-PIT once for a relative pittance. The website, in an older incarnation, used to be great about some of these "alternative" routings.

I flew this on a UA ticket, but US metal (except for SFO-LAS and back)... outbound was on the last day of the double status miles promo last fall. RDU-CLT-SFO-LAS-SFO-PHL-RDU. Fare was $222.50.

Did a similar run out of CRW last September... double status miles on all of it (in fact requalified for SP with it)... CRW-CLT-LAS-SFO-PHL-CRW all in 26 hours over a Sat/Sun. Fare was like $219.50.

A "Mileage Run"... is that what they're called? I've been doing them for years and didn't know they had a name.

these often work out of sav too (which, as a chs resident, is very nice...can save me a lot of money AND generate more segments/miles in the process).

sav-clt-bwi-pit-buf-phl-bwi-clt-sav
$260 all in, and all mainline

i booked the return 3 days out (this is a trip i'm making for a real reason), but i think same day (or next day) might work too.
