US AIRWAYS EXPRESS TO EXPAND NONSTOP
SAVANNAH-WASHINGTON, D.C. REGIONAL JET SERVICE

ARLINGTON, Va., Dec. 16, 2003 -- US Airways Express will expand its seasonal weekend nonstop service between Savannah, Ga., and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport to daily nonstop service, beginning Feb. 8, 2004.

The expanded service will use both Embraer 145 and Canadair 50-seat regional jets operated by Mesa Airlines. Flights will depart Washington at 10:24 a.m., and will arrive in Savannah at 12:15 p.m. Return flights will depart Savannah at 12:45 p.m., and will arrive in Washington at 2:13 p.m. On Saturdays, an additional roundtrip flight will be offered, departing Washington at 9:30 a.m., and arriving in Savannah at 11:16 a.m. The return flight will depart Savannah at 11:50 a.m., and will arrive in Washington at 1:18 p.m.

From Savannah, US Airways currently operates five daily roundtrip flights to Charlotte, which are complemented by US Airways Express roundtrip flights to Philadelphia and New York-LaGuardia on Saturdays. Effective Feb. 8, 2004, US Airways Express will also begin weekend nonstop service from Savannah to both Pittsburgh and Boston.

Passengers flying on US Airways Express regional jets travel comfortably in a quiet, roomy cabin equipped with leather seats where every seat is on either an aisle or a window. Regional jets offer stand-up headroom, reclining seatbacks, large overhead storage bins, and a restroom. Flight attendant service is provided on every flight.

These regional jets have a cruising speed of over 500 miles per hour with a range of more than 1,000 miles, and can cruise at altitudes above 35,000 feet, providing US Airways Express long-range regional jet capability.
