To the person on 1179 (PIT-MCI) this morning: Please take something next time. You ruined the FC cabin!

Actually, several things made me regret buring upgrades on this flight. The jet was a 737-300 and I was in 2A. These cabins are so dated that FC is really not that nice. For once, the plane was quite clean and I cannot say enough about the crew. They were very upbeat and helpful. The usual pen marks were present (can't help thinking about the post regarding a person who marked seats to see if he ever flew the same plane 2x). Again, I'll think twice about upgrading on a 737-300 again....

oh, and the person with the noxious gas problem didn't help http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Where you staying in MCI and how long you here for (or did you move on to one of the fabulous other destinations served by US from MCI like Dodge City or Omaha?)? We could meet up for a drink tonight if you have time and want to and discuss the merits of FC over coach ... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

It's a good thing that smoking is no longer permitted. You might have lit a match....

I'm actually in Topeka...
Unfortunatly I'm only here for the night. But I'll be back in about a month. I think next time I will stay in KC... Topeka is a little lacking in the dining options (from what I see around this hotel).

Oh, and sorry about the graphic image that this post probably gave everyone. I was rather upset and needed to vent http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Just let me know and I'll see that you get some better options ... the Downtown Marriott and Doubletree are about 3 blocks from my apartment and there's some options within walking distance from there ...
