I just got a quick trip PHL-SFO and back for less than $300 and no Saturday night stay. The fare expires 3/10. The agent couldn't tell me why is was the case or if this type of fare was available to/from other cities. I am returning on Saturday though; I don't know if that makes a difference and that this great fare wouldn't exist if you were trying to go transcon M-F.

I was looking at PIT-LAX flights on Friday and saw lots of $275 fares.

Several carriers are showing this low fare w/o a Sat. nt. stay on Orbitz (LAX-PHL). I thought perhaps this fare war was initiated by WN, but WN is not listed at all on Orbitz.
