I came across the following article today on bargain London fares:

It looks like US has matched $208 LGW r/t from many cities, TPA and BWI included. I found lots of availability into March, '04.

It's V class, but a mileage run nonetheless.

$256 for the upgradeable Q fare - pre tax.

It looks like the match is for cities served by BA - since they started the $208 (or less as seen at PHL) fare. Of course, the fare doesn't apply here in Charlotte where the current low fare to LGW is $604 (K class). Good thing I bought my Thanksgiving night flight during the sale.

Keep in mind that taxes run about $100 for London.

Look for B fares as well. I found one from DCA at about $500 (not incl. taxes).

I went looking at these fares today and they have climbed. $256 (V) $314 (K) and $494(B).
