Taking family over Xmas 12/25 to 12/30 and
only have enough FF miles for 3 of 5 tickets needed.
Only seats left now require 40K in award miles so I doubt anyone wants to use FF miles so a bump ticket is the way to go now I believe.
Will Trade Marriott Debit Cards good through
5/07 in an amount deemed an equal trade.

Standard (non-premium) awards come out of the same inventory as bump tickets (X class). Thus, if one is not available, the other will not be either.
Premium awards are usually the only way to go around the holidays. On the bright side, if you are a Preferred member, they are equivalent to a Y/B class ticket and thus are upgradeable at time of booking (D class upgrade).

I have a United bump voucher which unlike US Airways bump vouchers goes into V or Q inventory...
But this brings up another question - have you looked into availability on U or just US?

I called United and same problem, all
the standard awards are gone so no way
can a US Air FF can get a United ticket.
I need 80K of US Air Miles and I will be generous for anyone who can help me,
see offer here:
