Currently many of the DL board members are attempting to get DL to rescind the drastic cutbacks in the Skymiles program. We would appreciate any advise that the Cockroaches can give to us. We are all in the same boat together. If one airline gets away with it, the others will follow.

So if you have some free time, please come over and visit with us. I am sure that it won't take too long to figure out which are the important threads regarding our issues.

You must keep the pressure on!! BIG TIME! I flew on other carriers for 60 days and each time I did I faxed Consumer Affairs a copy of my competing itinerary with a copy of a usairways.com quote for the same flights along with a request for a valid business reason to come back. I did this for 6 weeks and I got a call from Mr. Siegel's office from a nice guy who apologized and said they "learned their lesson"
Call US and see if you can get comped to gold or CP and then fax that to DL customer service asking why you should stay. enuff do that kind of stuff and it will be rescinded

Don't forget to let US know that you're doing this because you know that they know better than to do anything as silly as what DL is pulling -- or you might end up leaping from the frying pan into the fire...
