You may find the first four paragraphs interesting. Is this how US is now determining passengers' opinions?

And who brought this guy from Northwest? Was it Dave Siegel? Seems Ben is kinda crooked to me.

Wow. I knew he was an a-hole, didn't know he was a crook. Were these allegations ever proven?

The key question is "were these allegations proven?".

He's already proven to be pretty insensitive to the customer base. But, if this link is true, then he probably wouldn't have ever worked "in this town again".

My vote is that this article is a little bit propaganda and writers embellishment until I see something a little more official.

In fact, if this was published for the world to see, Ben could surely have reason to sue for libel if the charges can't be proven.

Doesn't the "xxx." in the front indicate the server is primarily used for porn?

I never heard the names (or at least never remembered them), but when I worked at American it was considered "common knowledge" that when NW raided AA's Rev. Mgmt and Finance departments, more than just people headed North. The legitimacy of this "common knowledge" may be taken with whatever size grain of salt may be appropriate.

I could be wrong, but I believe that AA and NW ultimately settled the lawsuit out of court sometime in '95 or '96. I have no idea which side "won" the negotiated settlement.

This issue of corporate espionage/theft of intellectual property was a major source of the bad blood that existed between AA and NW for years. This bad blood (read "pettiness") extended as far as having each carrier restrict the reciprical flight privileges granted to the employees of the other carrier. For years, neither carrier would allow permit ID90 (90% discount) travel to the other's employees, a courtesy routinely negotiated and granted to the employees of virtually all major airlines. It was only relatively recently that this has changed.

From yield management to marketing. Yep... that explains it.
