After the recent announcements et al, I'm considering changing my iDine status such that all miles are accrued on AA. Is there a way to change your credit card assignments mid-month without losing your pending credit for the current month's purchases?

The CC companies say it sometimes takes a few months to make the changes. If you have a lot of miles, I wouldn't risk it. It might be easier to get a new CC, especially if you might change your mind.

You have more than one CC, right?

Just switch one you have no idine credits pending on to your new desired earning airline and start using that one.

Then switch the others when all the pending credits have posted.

That's what I've done in the past.
