Last week, US filed applications with DOT to fly Saturday only service between BOS and NAS and BOS and CUN.

Proposed service to begin next March with A-319s.

Did you know that they already hold route authority to MAD from BOS. They also have route authorities to Barcelona and the Azores from both BOS and PHL.

Yup, they actually had quite a few authorities, but never used them...

That is actually what US applied for.

I'm sure, somewhere in the fine print, they reserve the right to crank those up to A321s, if for no other reason that to carry the hordes of drunk spring break college types to/from CUN.

I wonder if their will be wet t-shirt contests on-board like last time? Anyone in their 20s who hasn't done so already should visit Cancun during Spring Break. Also, leave the wife at home.
