Was looking at the Club page, and the following info came up:

"To use Dividend Miles to purchase a Club membership, please call 1-800-828-8522."

Never mind...

For GPs....35,000 for primary, 15,000 for spouse.

For SPs....45,000 for primary, 15,000 for spouse.

I'm a CP without club access... they want 20k for it I think. Is there a way I can get it for free?

There's some rumors that they give free club access to the highest revenue CP's, so the answer is to spend more on your tickets.

It's 25K for CP's.

Considering how many miles a CP must rack up in a year, 25,000 is a spit in the ocean.

Yeah, 25K or $200. Can get 3 years for $550. So works out to 0.8 cents of value per mile, but I plan to renew next month with miles more as a diversification strategy than anything else.

That is if they don't drive me away from their airline with their latest debacle.

I bought it last year. I was planning on renewing with miles. It is a way to give back for the good year. If they take back miles then I will not renew at all.

FYI, the OAG used to (and may still have) have a $50 off coupon which was combinable with the preferred discount.

Although my cockroach status might be endangered by saying so I can confirm that that is not a rumor.

Where can I get this $50 off coupon? What is the OAG? I am thinking of joining very soon with the 5,000 mile bonus...that is if they'll let me! (You are supposed to be 18, but will they really care?)

Yes. They have a bar and do not serve prepared food as such. In many states, notably Pennsylvania, this means that minors cannot enter the establishment without being accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The conditions of membership also require you to be 18. See http://www.usairways.com/pro_services/club/index.htm and click on the "guidelines" link.
