Just wanted a clarification from the experts:

So, I'm currently a Silver, just requalified by >25K preferred miles

Question: Does this mean that I will have to wait until next Feb/March to get the SWUs?

But what if I go onto to achieve Gold this November? Does this mean that I should expect a Gold package sooner than next Feb/March or do I still have to wait until Feb/March to get the SWUs?

In my experience, when renewing your status, you wait for the annual mailings of packages. When gaining the next level, you get the package a few weeks after attainment.

I believe that is true IF you make the next level by a cutoff date for the year. I believe I read in another thread that cutoff date is now Oct 31st. Then you will get a gold package and another one Feb 03.

If you make Gold after Oct 31 you will just get the one package in Feb 03. Again, I did not hear this firsthand but read it on these boards.
