So you say you're looking for a few miles and maybe collect on a few bonuses?

US now has $188 RT fares to SAN from what appears to be all Southwest cities. There's a 7 day advance purchase, but NO Saturday night or even overnight stay needed.

I'm currently looking at ALB-PHL-SAN-PHL-ALB leaving out at 0745 returning the same day at 2330 for $223.50

CLE-PHL-SEA-PIT-CLE is running $213.50 sameday return - out at 0720 back at 2320. With all of the bonuses, I can't go wrong even if some don't credit as promised...

ATC - here was the answer to my mileage prayers.

At around 1pm, I noticed these fares and bought myself one. Tempted to do multiple runs, but my wife didn't like it. (as a matter of fact, she thinks just one run is pretty sad) Let's just say "Mileage Runs to nowhere" sound pretty stupid to those who aren't in this community. Actually, come to think of it, it IS a bit silly to sit on an airplane for 20 hours straight flying in a big circle just to earn a few (well, more than a few) frequent flyer miles.

Anyway, just babbling. I guess it's a bit more fun to actually see something or someone on a trip, other than just airports.

<sigh> I guess this is what my FT obsessed self has been reduced to. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

They still show up for flights from TPA. I just booked a similarly priced LAX run.

They still work from BWI too. I think it is any Southwest City.

I booked a run for myself last night. When I went to book a RT for a friend, they were gone early this morning.

Most seem to have returned, but the low fares have not returned to ALB, ISP, MHT or PVD.

I got one from MCO for $215.00 including all taxes, fees, etc. JAX was over $450!!
