Does anyone have any ideas as to which of the 200 flights will be cut in the new round of schedule cuts just announced by US?

Probably reduced frequency to a lot of cities, since Dave said he wanted to keep serving about the same number of places.

So, instead of 5 PHL-LAX's a day, you might see 3 or 4. But I would expect to see the short-hauls cut before the longer ones.

My 4:00 MCO-PHL on 9/23 on a 767 was a casualty. I rerouted thru CLT then the PHL bonus came out. You win some and you lose some.

I don't know that the transcons will be victims--they have been pretty full, especially on the weekends (at least ex-PIT).

In fact, it's getting to the point where I'm blowing 20k at a crack to upgrade these suckers with US20s.

That's gotta suck since it means you're only netting like 10k from a West Coast trip then after the upgrade ... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

CHA lost flight 5700 (the early morning RJ), and had a small downgrade of the late 3416 (had been a DH8-300, switched to a DH8-100).

It's getting worse.

I've got a 3.5 hour connection in CLT next month to avoid the back of the bus enroute to SFO--G is blanked from PIT almost a month out on a Friday.

Of course, I'll hit CP on the way back.

MCO-PHL has nine daily flights. Not surprising that some will be cut, even if they are all packed with ultra-low yield traffic!

According to the timetable effective 9/8, LAX will loose the BWI non-stop redeye, and 30, the 3:10 to PHL will also be gone October 10. Nothing else yet other than that.
