I am booked from BOS to LGW on August 29th (1127/126)returning September 2nd (127/254). I called in the reservation and had miles deducted for the upgrade. I was told at that time that I would be waitlisted for all flights. Well, the receipt/itinerary came and it says "coach" for all flights but says "envoy" for flight # 127. I call to pick a seat for the that flight and am told that I am in coach and that I am still on the waitlist. Why would it say "Envoy" if I wasn't confirmed and is the receipt a contract of sorts? What would you do in this situation? Thanks!
My guess is that you're going to have to sweat it out on the waitlist. Did you check www.virtuallythere.com (http://www.virtuallythere.com) to see how you are listed?

As we've learned before, being listed in coach on Virtually There doesn't mean you're NOT in Envoy, although I guess if it DOES list you in Envoy then you're set.
--Greg, who has FINALLY had a reservation show the upgrade on Virtually There (US PIT->LAX, UA LAX->KOA, then UA KOA->SFO, US SFO->PIT; the US segments correctly show "First" on Virtually There now. Now if only the ff miles agreement is active by November...)
