I guess when they see Frankfurt, DE on their list, they just assume DE is a state. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I still love it when folks going across the pond to MAN are misdirected by US employees and sent to the MHT gate!

Delaware's a state? Well, I'll be....
I thought it was just a suburb of Philly. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Until the switch to Sabre the manifest showed the city codes instead of the city name. FAs would just skip the ones they didn't know or read out the code: "Flight 3654 to SWF leaves from gate B-12..."

But your profile says Philly? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/confused.gif
Well, Delaware might be small and essentially a Philly suburb (in the north) or a Washington, DC beach playground (in the south), but I bet a large number of you here mail a check to a Delaware address once a month. Worse yet, you probably receive credit card offers in the mail, sent from a Delaware address, about every other day. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

That beats the time I got stuck in toronto, and I told the agent (air canada) I wanted to go to Dulles (DC) and she got me on a flight to DFW.
And I've been in the MHT MAN screw up several times in the past.

Worse yet, companies in which we hold stock run up to Delaware every now and then to screw us over... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
