Is it possible to fly on a Z-class ticket (award travel) and be upgraded? I am CP. Travelling with 3 family members and have zillions of upgrade coupons, also. Tomorrow is travel day minus 7 days.

Not a chance in advance. I'm CP too, it just isn't within the rules.

If you were alone, you might stand a chance of an upgrade at the gate after everyone else, including Silvers and Golds. But that's only if the gate agents are in a good mood.

In the meantime, it's best to book the best exit row seats.
