While planning for a vacation, I looked at the US website. Sharp FT'er already know this, but the list of partners is getting smaller. Alitalia is leaving by year's end. Swiss, which I was surprised to see, will be leaving in June. (maybe I switched the dates for the 2 airlines). SN is long gone. That just leaves US for European and UK awards, NW for Far East awards, and the hard to get QF awards.

This reminds me of TWA, who had only a few partners, such as Icelandair.

Looks like I may have to redeem from another ff program for anything other than the biggest cities.

You're preaching to the choir.

I agree Skylink - I was trying to get to New Zealand and Qantas was very difficult to get seats! Bummer. Loved it when AA (used them to get to HI) and also when BA was a partner!

It would be soooo nice if BA returned as a partner. Actually, I would even welcome AA back. In fact, I would be happy with any new partner at all.

It's partly a matter of expectations. Before looking at the website, I was expecting almost no partners. I then saw Alitalia and Swiss. Yipee! But then I saw the fine print that they are both leaving. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
