Was looking on the US Web site today under customer service, and found this:
http://usairways.com/customers/changes/cancel/cancellation_ie.htm
24 Hour Cancellation
Complete the form below to cancel airline tickets within 24 hours of the original purchase and request a credit:
Is this a policy similar to NW, UA, etc. where you can cancel an Internet Reservation (even non-refund) and get your money back ? I've done that on UA before, but didn't know that US had a similar policy.

Yes, but I have always done this over the phone and had no problems.

I believe all the major US airlines have the same policy now as part of the "Customer Commitment" they adopted a while back ...
Yes - you can cancel any reservation on any US Airline within 24 hours for any reason. If you don't feel comfortable filling out the online form, I'd suggest just calling the USAirways.com customer service number to make the cancellation.

Btw - I dont believe it is generally true for all tickets on all US airlines. Most of the "majors" follow the 24-hour cancel rule. America West, for example, though does not. Here is the Penalty Fare Rules section for a NYC-PHX fare on America West, and then below, on USAirways..

Bottom line, read your fare rules and verify before you assume all airlines follow this.
