Where can I find the air miles between cities? I thought it was on the US site. Thanks.

Download the pdf format timetable from the U website. The miles between cities are listed on it. Alternatively, I use the pocket OAG -- it doesn't use the exact US mileage, but its close enough...

It's also displayed in the timetable record for each flight:

http://dps2.usairways.com/cgi-bin/fs?page=vdisplay&flight=xxxx&date=ddMmm&orig=xxx&dest=xxx&carrier=US

ex:
http://dps2.usairways.com/cgi-bin/fs?page=vdisplay&flight=63&date=11Mar&orig=PHL&dest=SFO&carrier=US

While not on the US web site, but a good alternative, it shows up on the schedules when you query itn.net.

All of the answers given are good ones in general, just recognize that they often differ from each other and what's posted to your account and what's posted to your upgrade counter by a few miles here and there.

I use this as a general reference: http://www.indo.com/distance/

Of course, if you're cutting your elite status qulaification close, I'd use the US information.

Thank you everyone for the great advice. I was trying to figure out if I would have enough miles to get an award ticket and have enough miles to meet a gold challenge. If work continues to send me out of town I should be ok.

Couldn't you just go to MileMarker on Webflyer?

This site used to display the mileage AA uses domestically but the numbers hae changed slightly.

This site is great for multiple-segment itineraries and displaying great circle routing.
