Finally after 4 days (99.99% of the time US posts miles 3 days after the flight, no more, no less in my experience) I see the following online:
17-JAN-02 US 0197 O MAN PHL 3,434 3,434 6,868
17-JAN-02 MILES FOR MAGAZINES BONUS 0 3,434 3,434
17-JAN-02 6C ACTIVATION BONUS 0 2,500 2,500
So can anyone tell me is the "miles for mags" bonus 4713 or is it the 8145 bonus which everyone is saying doesn't seem to be posting? My guess is this is 4713.

I think you are right. What is the 6C bonus? Have I missed one?

I sent an e-mail to Consumer Affairs to inquire about the double bonus and received the following response:
Mr. XXXXXXX,
Bonus miles for Bonus Request 8145 will appear in your account within two weeks of the flight activity posting.
Thank you,
XXX XXXXX
chexfan: missed you at the awfully crowded Envoy Lounge in PHL.

I have a business associate whom I pointed towards these messages boards before he took a USAirways flight. On a flight on weekend of 1/12, he received the Miles for Magazines bonus and had NOT signed up for 4713. I only saw that bonus listed last week.
So, the M for M is out there as some other bonus as well..

So within the next 3 days I should see something for part of this http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
15-JAN-02 US 1600 Y MCO PIT 834 417 1,251
10-JAN-02 US 2329 Y PIT MCO 834 417 1,251
Or should I wait until 2 weeks after the RETURN? Hmmm...

When the double tier miles post, it specifically says that it is double tier. Have a friend who just got the double tier and the miles for magazines. There were even 2 additional segments posted to his account.

My double miles posted too, the interesting thing is that for two segments in one day there was only a single posting for the double miles for all the flights on that day.

Beckles, I noticed the same thing and thought that was quite peculiar as well.

I am concerned they are doing it manually, hard to imagine but why else is it taking so long. This (one post for dbl miles for multiple segments) adds to my suspicions...

Beckles, et al...can you please post some examples of your flights? I have to say that I am very concerned and confused about the postings for the promos. Perhaps a separate thread for each of the various promos that we're experiencing problems with? Maybe not...I wish US was better at crediting these; they are very nice to get but very time consuming to get as well.

I mean let's give US a fair shot at awarding these extra bonus points from the promos. Sure, it is peculiar that some bonuses (e.g. 6 Continents, Online and Europe Bonus) post with the flights, but I see nothing wrong in having to have to wait an extra week or so for the double miles to post. Just have a bit of confidence.
I didn't fly US at all during the double miles promo that ended on 12/15, but how did those post? UA did a sweep (it seemed) every thursday night for that week's flight activity. Did US do the same? B/c they could be running a weekly sweep again for this promo. Just a thought.
The Double Miles are posting like this:
DATE1 FLT Class CDG PHL 3,729 3,729 7,458
DATE1 FLT Class PHL SEA 2,378 2,378 4,756
DATE1 US AIRWAYS DOUBLE MILES 0 6,107 6,107

For the last double miles promo my points never posted automatically despite repeated attempts to sign up for the promo (and I was in fact signed up according to US), but they did post individually for each flight, even for same day flights, where as in this promo all flights in a day are lumped together. Doesn't really matter to me, just a bit pecuilar.

Another 'didnt see this posted anywhere, thought I would try'..
Is it just me, or are the double/triple bonuses now posting along with flights? I took a B-class trip last week, and all bonuses seem to post right along with the 'actual' flight credit (i.e. 2-3 days after flight).
Last month, they were taking 2+ weeks and we suspected they were being done manually. Just curious if things are now up to date, or whether more might be coming in 2 weeks..
