I've had the Silver Visa for about four years now.
Is there any reason to upgrade to the Gold Visa? I already have corporate travel insurance. I didn't really didn't see any benefit.
What perks are being offered for the Platinum these days? I heard that the 1.2 miles per dollar was killed off - leading to the annual fee being reduced to $99. Do they still offer the discount certificates with them? Do these certs earn miles? Are they upgradeable?
Finally, has anybody attempted to request a reduction in the interest rate? The 17.9% or 18.4% rate does keep me from running a balance. I would not plan on running one with a lower rate, but you never know what might happen.
