I was due to fly on Monday for a daytrip to Boston on MetroJet. All flights TPA-BOS were cancelled, yet I was not contacted. I guess that's ok, since they have so many people they would have to call. Unfortunately many mainline flights have been cancelled as well, so I'm just left with the dregs to choose from. Right now I'm rebooked on TPA-PIT-BOS with a waitlist for first class on TPA-PIT (only two revenue seats left). Return is BOS-CLT-TPA with a waitlist on CLT-TPA (only one revenue seat left). So I'll be seeing coach, which is okay since my original flight was coach too. The problem is now I'm stuck with a connection, not to mention that my streak of always sitting up front in planes with a front cabin might be ruined!

Oh well; I guess there are bigger things to worry about. Plus, I can always cancel or take the Delta Express nonstops (which haven't cancelled...yet).

I'll reevaluate tomorrow morning when I'm more awake.

Checked my BWI-BDL MetroJet flights for two weeks out today and learned that the route has been discontinued. This occurred this weekend as the flights were available on Friday. US Air mainline has not picked up any of the flights at this time. Called US Air and we were offered connections through PIT or PHL. They allowed us to re-book out of IAD (connecting thru PIT) at no charge.

I just checked on the US site and found that all MJ flights from BOS-TPA and TPA-BOS are showing cancelled today and tomorrow. Is this the end of MJ for BOS-TPA?

Yes, it is the end of TPA-BOS on MetroJet. Delta Express still provides two nonstops daily. MetroJet service to Baltimore remains in tact for at least the next month or two, and I haven't checked about Dulles.
