What is/was the transcon evening meal service in F. This is not the 6pm dinner flights but the 8pm flights that list meal service as snack/brunch. Are there ice cream sundaes? I realize this may have changed with the recent cutbacks.

The food changes begin (or will start a phase-in) on Monday (October 1). From what I hear, transcon (LAX/SAN/SNA/SFO/SEA) will be the same (or close to it); Caribbean and Europe will be the same (or close to it); PHX and DEN will be slightly reduced; most short haul flights (up and down the coast) will be reduced to snack mix. I don't know about midhauls like PIT or PHL to Texas.

Thanks, but what is a snack/brunch at night. Is it the cold chicken plate w/ a croissant?

I used to take Flight 75 from PHL-LAX frequently, and it has always been Level 1 service, aka full dinner, even when it departed at 9:15pm. Caoch was also full transcon service.
