US Airways Traffic Up 13.7 Percent for April
US Airways reported today that revenue passenger miles for April 2001 were up 13.7 percent compared to April 2000, while available seat miles for the month increased 12.4 percent. The passenger load factor for the month was 74.0 percent, an increase of 0.8 percentage points compared to April 2000.

ARLINGTON, Va., Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- US Airways reported today that revenue passenger miles for July 2001 were up 7.4 percent compared to July 2000, while available seat miles for the month increased 6.4 percent. The passenger load factor for the month was 76.9 percent, an increase of 0.7 percentage points compared to July 2000.
Year-to-date revenue passenger miles were up 12.2 percent, compared to the same period in 2000, while available seat miles were up 11.3 percent year- over-year. The passenger load factor for the seven-month period was 71.1 percent, an increase of 0.6 percentage points compared to 2000.
