US Airways Lowers Caribbean Fares for Fall Travel
US Airways is offering new roundtrip sale fares for travel between the U.S. and 12 of its Caribbean destinations -- Aruba, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Cancun, Grand Cayman, Montego Bay, San Juan, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, St. Croix and Santo Domingo. These special fares bring customers discounts of up to 40 percent off standard fares in some markets.
To take advantage of these attractive fares, tickets must be purchased at least seven days prior to departure, within 24 hours of making the reservation and no later than July 27, 2001. Travel under this sale is valid Sept. 4 through Dec. 18, 2001. The lowest fares are available when traveling Monday through Thursday, except for flights between Charlotte, N.C., and Aruba and St. Maarten, which operate only on Saturday and Sunday. One Saturday night stay is required and tickets become nonrefundable 24 hours after making an initial reservation.
As an added incentive, customers can take an additional 5 percent off these already low fares by purchasing tickets online at usairways.com.
