Got forced into the process of booking my parents a trip to come east to visit us in October. They're coming on AA, but that's a different story.

Anyhow, I was absolutely shocked to see how cheap things are out of BWI right now. Usually I can get to SAN for about $220 - $240.

However, this time, I just couldn't resist booking a routing through PHL for $180. That is cheap. Then, I thought about the miles I'd get -

= 21,763 miles for $180. WHAT A DEAL! The trip that pays for itself.
