Does anyone have the code numbers to dial reservations at US from the GTE Airfone Service? Thanks Much!

What part of "no" didn't you understand?

It's nice to see another TPA ff posting. Although I don't know your answer, someone (apparently very bored while on a flight) entered all 1,000 possible 3-digit potential "free" dial codes on a Delta GTE Airphone. Direct connections to Delta, United, Air Canada, etc., were discovered, but nothing for US. Here's the site, take it for what its worth.

Thanks TPA US FF, that site is pretty informative. I appreciate the information. Hope we can figure out if there is a US one. Appreciate the fact that other members in Tampa are helpful. It's unfortunate that very few others here tend to be less than helpful.

I feel people here go above and beyond to educate and assist people. I was just floored with the abrupt and quite short response above. I have moved on and put it behind me. Thanks to the efforts of others, I now know the protocol on repostings of the same subject matter. Thanks for your input on this. Have a great weekend. :-)

Upgrademe, you are RUDE. In fact, when I read the USATODAY article on belligerent frequent fliers and upgraded passengers, to which I'm sure you could rudely link me, your name came to mind.
I'm waiting for Randy's announcement that you have been dubbed KING of the board. Until that time, on behalf of those of us who prefer to be polite and friendly with one another, why not ignore posts you don't like? As I'm sure you will with this one.

Let's keep the tone here civil, people. Yes, there is a search function but the simple fact is that you can choose NOT to read a post if it covers a topic you have no interest in or one which you've seen posted previously. That said, I have no problem spending the 15 seconds necessary to respond to a question if I readily know the answer, even if that answer was posted on another thread a few days previously. The point of this board is to share information in an effort to help each other. The tone here has generally been quite civil and good-natured. I'd hate to see a good thing degenerate into incivility of the sort that we are exposed to far too much in our daily lives.

And, no, I don't believe that there is an Airfone code for US reservations.

I have to agree that UpgradeMe's response was a bit short - but in all fairness, it was also quite accurate and to the point. TopTier personally asked this same question in three threads, first on 6/5, and then on 6/19 and then again on 7/12. So while some of you Southern gentlemen might have the patience to explain to TopTier how to bring a thread to the top again, rather than starting a new one, some of us Northeasterners really don't have the time to waste on someone who doesn't bother to read the rules of the board before setting out. Its sort of like the family of people who are casually walking down the middle of the DFW airport concourse at 4pm on a Friday, holding hands 4 across, blocking all of us behind them...all the while ignorant of what is going on behind them.

I hadn't realized he had asked this question 3 times before. Still, I stand by my request that we keep it civil. Florida must have mellowed me somewhat after 10+ years living first in NYC then DC. I'm with you on the people blocking the walkways -- it gets on my nerves, too.

I guess I'm just not the sharpest tool in the shed. I get peeved at four-across-councourse-walkers too. I'm just not quite sure how a repeated question, even three times, stops anyone from pursuing a life of complete fulfillment. Just ignore the question and let someone else answer it. For the record, I'm a New Yorker, not a southern gentleman, despite my current location. Regardless, I believe that rudeness is never acceptable. It's not like someone's repeating a question even TEN times will block anyone from earning miles, reading posts, etc. Just ignore it.

That my friend was very well put.. Thank you for further clarifying what was wrong with that uneccessary response. Glad to be in your company.
