Hello everybody, I am a longtime board lurker who has greatly benefitted from all the excellent free advice on this board. I was comped to US Silver based on my UAL status (PremEx). I was not able to fly the requesite miles to keep my US status but still have two unexpired systemwides. Can they be used next year when I am no longer a preferred member, but they are still valid? What about the North American upgrades?

Unexpired SWU's can definitely be used by non-elites. They are confirmable and usable regardless of status. However, I believe the NA's are only valid from full fares if your not at least Silver.
