Hi everyone...I posted a similar topic on Mileage Run...I'm looking for a same-day-travel fare on US---out of BWI, DCA, or IAD..just to use for miles or segments. Some folks on the MR board found stuff out or ATL and RDU....anyone do anything out of the Balto/DC area? thanks....

Here is a 4 segment trip but only 2000 miles

DCA-PIT-CVG-PIT-DCA round trip same day $154

From BWI try any of Southwest's destinations.
From IAD try any of Airtran's.

Sometimes the Sat. night requirement gets waived for fares to/from LAS. Also try transcons with the return flight a red-eye leaving just after midnight.

I did a run out of IAD last year - IAD-PHL-FLL-PHL-IAD for $140. Try MCO or TPA as they are metrojetish type destinations from IAD.

Thanks....keep that input coming! Please! It's not as easy as it may seem....I have been through lists of fares and everything has either one day or sat stay. One day isn't bad...but those precious same day trips are hard to find! If anyone sees a change in fare rules for BWI-CLE, now that the Metrojet service is going away, let me know. I'm hoping that they'll compete with CO and WN on cheap same day fares in that market.
