If you don't have a secondary airline to use, I'd stick the the BOA card until the US/UA merger happens.
Many FTers have talked about getting rid of the card, but why not keep using it until you're told you can't. Randy, among others, has said that the current merger won't happen as is so you probably have months, if not a year, to put more miles into your account.
